Celebrate World Health Day on April 7th!

Published on April 5th, 2019

World Health Day is a day dedicated to celebrating health in all forms! You may think there are many made up holidays just for the sake of celebrating something, but World Health Day is a great opportunity to raise awareness about health problems that have a global impact. The World Health Organization picks a theme to focus on every year, and 2019’s theme is focusing on obtaining universal health coverage.

Our team at Advanced Fitness & Wellness is dedicated to helping you celebrate your health on a daily basis. Whether you attend our fitness classes near Wayne, NJ or you have another way of celebrating, the goal is to raise awareness about health in general.

Set Up a Team

World Health Day is a great opportunity to get a group of your friends together to play a game of kickball, flag football, tennis, or whatever activity you prefer! The camaraderie that you feel will be priceless!

Take a Cooking Class

Healthy eating plays a huge role in the way that you feel on a daily basis. Taking a cooking class is a great way to learn different techniques and recipes that you and your family will enjoy.  Go out of your comfort zone and try a flavor combination that you wouldn’t typically try.

Spread the Word

Doing your research about healthy habits and spreading WHO’s message about universal health coverage is also a beneficial way to spend your day. Tweet, post on Facebook, talk to your coworkers; anything helps!

We look forward to seeing you at one of our fitness classes near Wayne, NJ in the near future!
